At our lab, we craft abutments to the highest esthetic standard, utilizing the implants you prefer from most major manufacturers. A natural-looking emergence is precisely milled and margin contours are designed to ensure ideal soft tissue and crown esthetics while also ensuring excellent gingival health and a beautiful final ceramic result.

Arcari Dental Lab provides a comprehensive dental implant department. We offer fully customized implant abutments in both zirconia and titanium. We use your implant level impression and provide a tailor-made CAD/CAM solution that is created to fit your patients’ individual needs. We can receive scans from C.O.S., Cerec Connect, and iTero.

Titanium abutments are commonly used in all regions of the mouth due to their strength.

Zirconia abutments are commonly used in the anterior and combined with all-ceramic or zirconia restorations.

Preparation

Use manufacturer’s tooling to remove healing cap. For multiple units, start in the posterior and work toward anterior. Then, use manufacturer’s tooling to place transfer coping. Ensure components are fully engaged before tightening screw.

Take an X-ray to verify proper seating of components. Next, ensure transfer coping does not hit tray. Use heavy body polyvinylsiloxane impression material. Record impression. Finally, when impression tray is removed, the transfer coping stays in the mouth. Remove transfer coping and replace healing cap.

For multiple units, start in anterior and work toward posterior. Check fit of impression coping into impression. Send to lab.

Cementation

Seat abutment. Torque screw into place per manufacturer’s recommendations. Next, use composite to fill over the implant screw.

Cement restoration over implant with a resin-reinforced ionomer (i.e., RelyX, 3M ESPE).

Screw Retained Bridge

Our top-of-the-line screw-retained zirconia bridge provides the patient the closest possible experience to their natural dentition.The precision-crafted design and next-generation all-ceramic material ensures not just maximum performance and esthetics, but also a passive fit between the final prosthetic restoration and implants. The framework contains screw holes that can compensate for implants placed in a less-than-optimal position without having to use angled abutments.

Titanium Milled Bars

Created by a state-of-the-art scanning and milling process, these one-piece milled titanium alloy structures eliminate the potential for weakness that may be caused by soldering or laser welded joints. The result is a more durable, passive restoration with fewer procedures. The milled bars are available for implant overdentures, fixed-hybrid prosthesis and fixed bridgework that can be implant level or tissue level using transmucosal abutments.

Locator Attachments

These are one of the most popular implant overdenture attachments used today, providing dental practitioners with the best possible attachment choice for implant-retained bars. They feature a low height of abutment restoration, and their self-aligning properties make them easy for patients to use. They provide solid function and lip and esthetic support.

All-on-4

The All-on-4 treatment concept was developed by Nobel Biocare® to provide edentulous patients with an efficient and effective restoration using only four implants to support an immediately loaded full-arch prosthesis. The restorations offer stability, prosthetic flexibility and improved patient satisfaction.

Straumann® Guided Implants

These have a special transfer mount that fits with the surgical sleeve for fully guided implant insertion including physical depth control with the stop key. At Arcari, we use these in conjunction with the coDiagnostiX planning software and surgical templates produced with the gonyX.

Stents

Our technicians produce an individual surgical stent for each patient that will help direct the implant placement. Our surgical stents provide the specific site(s) and the angulations for the implant placement; ensuring the restoration will fit precisely together with the implant for superior results.
